Default whitetail decoys

Does any one us a decoy for white tails. If so what kind. Is a doe or a buck better. Also I have to walk about a half mile into my stand and was wondering if any one used these light and flat decoys like the Montana. If so will a buck respond to them like they would a three d model?

I love useing decoys, I have better luck useing a buck decoy myself and I like to only put one antler on it so it doesn't scare the little bucks away!! I have never used the montana one so I couldn't comment on that one.. Walt

I use my target as a decoy, and also put only one antler on it. I wouldn't want to carry one that far though. I bought a game cart this year so now I can haul a decoy in as well as a carcass out.

I have had pretty good success using a buck decoy during the rut. Nothin is better than when a buck locks into the decoy and you know hes coming in on a string!
