Insurance Broker. I set my own schedule so I use all of my time off for hunting season. I do employee benefits and meet a lot of people. Recently, this has opened the door to new hunting areas as well.

I've worked in law enforcement for 12 years, and as you can see, I've already taken two deer this year because of it. These deer were both injured and had to be put down. To answer your question, my career has provided me thefinancial means to afford hunting trips, quality equipment, and most recently gas money to drive back and forth to many hunting areas. In addition, the schedule I work provides me flexibility come hunting season to maximize my time spent afield. So yes my career plays a part in every deer I get.

I am a commercial superintendent which provides me with a lot of guys who talk tall stories and a lot of wanna be hunters that would rather talk about then do. It has afforded me a few friends though that really do hunt, but the problem for them and myself is we have had many a season and trips ruined by large very expensive projects on ridiculous schedules that cannot be left. I have been here long enough now that I can to a certain point get out of town even when things are hectic.
