I fed here for 2 seasons+.

I've had great luck with a corn/peanuts mix. They seem to love it.

Good luck....whether you're hunting over it, using it for trail cam photos or simply attempting to feed supplementally (or a combination of all three).

Prepare to pay for anything "Special", though....and for any feed product consisting of corn as a dominant filler.

Get a fence... it's easier. [&:] Can't bait here, but in Maryland I used to feed them in my yard just to watch them. No hunting there. GMMAT is correct, they absolutely love RAW peanuts in the shell... it's just they'll run you a lot of money. I used to mix it with corn, about 4 to 1 just to give them a snack. The first deer in every afternoon went from pile to pile and ate all the peanuts first.

Schultzy... even in an area where there are no peanuts grown, it doesn't take long for them to seek them out. The first deer in my yard would go from pile to pile(I usually made 12-15 little piles every night) and clean out all the peanuts before they started eating the corn. I've seen peanut fields in Georgia where they came in and rooted up big chunks at night just like a hog would root to get buried goodies. They are expensive. I was buying them for my yard about 3 years ago in Maryland and a 100 pound bag was $90 or there about. I was just trying to give them something other than corn as a steadycorn diet is not really good for deer.

If you think they like raw peanuts, spreadsome peanut butter onto the side of a tree or on a piece of plywood and see what they do to it.

No, really I am serious. They will devour it. Smooth or Crunchy is up to you.
