Default Excuses?

What excuses will you use if you don't score on a buck this year?

Come on, we all have some good ones. Let's hear it ahead of time. That way we will know you are lying.[8D]

That's not an excuse, it's a plan of action and dedication.

I don't make excuses either...Either I am blessed with an animal that I feel meets my requirements or it wasn't my year to do it....

i'll man up...

"i didnt have the time to scout or hunt much"

i been in Cape Cod since May and wont be home till school starts up...once school starts i'll be in the Ranger acadamy....time in a treestand is gunna be hard to come by...gear will be ready...bow will be good n tuned...if/when i get a free couple hours im gunna be in the stand...but between the acadamy, school, and most likely EMT classes, i doubt i have time to use the bathroom let alone see the stand much...

but, after im done with it all, a year of hunting is a small sacrifice for what im heading into...should open the doors to my dream jobs...so i cant complain...though it might practically kill me

Default RE: Excuses?

The only excuse I have ever used is the truth..Of course I have only gone one or two years that I havent shot a deer with my bow. My excuses that I can remember, made a bad shot choice and missed, and I couldnt get them to come into range. These were back to back years, 99 and 2000 if i remember right.
