Default What do you do to prepare

What do you do to prepare your hunting cloths for the season. I wash with water and let dry in the trees. I will spray them down a sew times a week and let dry outside.

I treat them with a Permethrin based spray for ticks and let them dry. Then I wash them in scent free soap, add baking soda during the rinse cycle, and dry them with a fresh earth dryer sheet. They are then placed in a plastic tote or garment bag for storage.

I'm borderline OCD when it comes to scent control of my hunting clothes. First, I ALWAYS spray my hands with scent elimination, and wear rubber gloves when handling. I wash everything, even the towel I be drying off with. I was it all in DDW laundry detergent, dry it with an unscented dryer sheet, and store them in an airtight container.

I wash them in plain water and I then hang them in pine tree's to dry. Sometimes I use earth scent detergent but not to often being I haven't seen it make one bit of difference in deer not smelling me.

Wash them in Scent Free detergent and keep them isolated from any scent.

I won't use a cover scent on me or my clothes. A deer's nose is much better than a Bird dog's, and you better believe he knows how to use it!
