Default Hunting from the ground?

Hey guys,
I do not have alot of treestands available to me in one of my hunting areas. How do you go about hunting from the ground without alerting deer?

Default RE: Hunting from the ground?

I have killed at least 7 deer that I can think of, from the ground. I mostlyused dead falls as cover, putting additional branches around it to form somewhat of a blind. It worked rather well. I've even just used the base of a tree (not suggested)with some of that camo materialto break up my outlineto kill deer.
I believe hunting from a tree stand offers the best chance at not being detected. I won't hunt any other way now.
