Default Unusual Deer Pic

This pic was taken in southern ILL, is it a whitetail that is just an unusual color or something else????? Tell me your opinions....

wierd one for sure, looks awful hairy too.If you didnt tell me where the pic was from i would have thought it was a sika deer.

Wouldn't be the first time a Sitka deer was killed in IL. I also believe that is what it looks like.

the body structure doesn't look like a whitetail to me. Could be a sitka....

Piebald: Piebald deer have patches of white hair but are otherwise normally colored. Piebalds are thought to be more common than albinos. Depending on what part of the country you are from these deer are sometimes referred to as pintos and come in various amounts of white and brown.
Melanistic: Melanistic deer are very dark sometimes even black. Melanism results from overproduction of pigment and is less common than albinism. Hunters see dark deer with some frequency but to actually see a Melanistic deer is rare.

Im going to go on a hunch here. Was that game cam a wildview?? I have several photos from one that came out with alot of purple colors and the photos look alot different than it should. Im guessing it is the cam that made everything look whacky, just a hunch.
