Default Trips planned?

Let"s get an upbeat post going, because I know anyone who does have a trip planned is probably more than excited, even with summer half way to go.

For me it"s 80 days until I step on a plane for my 8 day Idaho elk hunt.
I don"t know if my "trips" to Ohio count. I"ll be running back and forth most every weekend during the season.

So let"s here the where, for what and for how long?

My back yard, for deer, until I can afford to travel again.

Sorry, best I could do...

Terlingua in the Texas Big Bend again this year. I got a Javalina last year. Maybe I'll get that Muley this year! I'm going for the week after Thanksgiving.

Just my camp in PA and Dan's place here in NY this year. As of September though, I have a free roundtrip flight from my work travel through Southwest. I'm not sure what I'll use it for, but hopefully a cool hunt somewhere in 2009.

Team Va and myself will make our annual trip to the Mts of Va in Pulaski Co/ Wythe Co to the 1500ac cattle farm my brother operates. It is like going to a whole other state. We see 15 or more deer a set or we are disappointed!! Spoils ya. The 1st week of bow season. It's about a 4 hr drive.

Lisa and I are headed to Mexico, again, in October.
Lake Norman, this weekend.
We're going to Charleston in August.
Canada in the fall (sometime).

You mean hunting? Nothing. Maybe PA around Halloweeen. I have too many people coming here to hunt this fall to worry about going somewhere else.
