Default What do you call a young deer that has lost its spots?

I know this varies from different places. So what do you call them?
Please Explain...

Fawn. Yearlings are year old deer...IMO, a deer that had spots a week ago and doesn't now is still a fawn...

That is an interesting perspective... I think alot of people just call it what they were taught, kind of like a tradition if you will..

After the spots come off, we usually call them "This year's fawn." Yearling is one year old.
