Two weeks ago while setting up a stand, I noticed 20 yrds away a scrape was already being used. Fresh chew marks on overhanging branch and a few loads of crap already in the middle of it. So if I decide to do any at all this year, it may be soon...possibly next weekend.

I have yet to see a scrape this early in the year..........i guess there are some that make them this early but im sure they are not territorial scrapes, more social scrapes. I wouldnt dream of making a mock scrape right now on my property, probably freak out all the deer

Do the scrapes you put up this early see use? Just curious as I generally start them about the time deer loose velvet and have never thought of putting them up this early....if there is reason to I probably will.
