I am almost done stick building a double tier stand (video hunt) in an old hickory tree and put up 2 of my ladder stands. I still have 3 ladder stands to go, and two hangers and hope to have them done by end of July.

Im just gonna flip the pads on them so they can get "natural" scented without fading or nasty build-up during the summer rains and heat. I put the first one up in a bedding area a couple weeks ago so they will get used to it by the time season rolls around. It is the one Im hunting on opening day of archery.

Do not follow where the path may lead...go instead where there is no path and blaze a trail!

I actually got like 6 stands to hang yet! It's all new property and some of them are gonna take alot of work. I'm in for a good all day'er if you know what I mean! They will be done by the end of July. There will be one or two of these stands that will be doubles for taping!

Dukemicheals and I hung three stands a couple of weeks ago. Won't have much time in July and Aug and I prefer not tromping through the woods in Sept. Three fixed stands and a Lone wolf to fine tune the set-ups once the season starts!
