Default Need help on Camo Chioces

I am looking at two choices for new camos. Since I can't get a hands on look at them... I was hoping you guys could help me.

Keep in mind, I hunt about 99% of the time on the ground here and I need a light, open pattern. The picture below is typical hunting terrain for us.

I want " quiet " camo. It is a must for me. All of my bow kills have been under 15 yards with the exception of the coyote. I am not afraid of shooting past 30 yards, it just has worked out that way and always Iget a very close shot it seems.

The first choice is Cabelas Silent Weave in Predator Deception. The second choice is Engima in Wolfskin. Give me the good and bad to help me out in which one I choose. Thanks!!

Tim

One thing I forgot to add... even if you hunt out of the trees, please respond. I want to know about the quality andquietness of the camo if you use them. I don't buy camo very often so I want good stuff that lasts. Thanks!!

TJF

I happen to own both the suits.

Both Quiet, and I am a nut about my hunting cloths being quiet. Wolfskin is the better material, but if you wanted an Engima Suit you better have ordered it in Jan[&:].

Cabela's SilentWeave will fade after you wash it, my suit has faded a bit. For the price it's hard to beat.

Sorry only pic I have of predator

If I may ask, why not ASAT? I have sitka gear suit of ASAT and I love the pattern. Seeing the terrain you are in it looks like ot would work great!!!.

I have done quite a bit of research on camo patterns and I have decided to get ASAT. I'm not sure on the fabric yet but I really like this pattern.

Check out their website. http://www.asatcamo.com/

I also was a little surprised to not see ASAT as one of your choices.....

IMO ASAT would disappear in that terrain! Gray wolf woolens now does custom stuff in ASAT fleece..... Day one camo has some nice stuff in ASAT as well as Sitka gear.

I've got enigma and I love it. I asked, LAST YEAR, for another suit.....which I still haven't received yet. So......good luck with that.

I think I'll get a few good years out of the Enigma (wolfskin material)....but to be honest....I'm kinda in the same boat you are in. For most of my season, here....I'll be wearing my new Ultimate camo. For the late season.....I just don't know, right now.

It ain't just for duck hunters you know.....

And then there is this stuff....

And honestly, I wish that some big name solid garment company would start making this stuff. Desert and woodland MARPAT and heck even ACU is the most amazing camoflauge short of what chameleons and iguanas wear. Under Armor has started doing some of the digital stuff, and though its expensive as gold, I've got some on the way for duck hunting.

If you are referring to the ASAT suit I am no longer a dealer.I severed ties with them last summer. It was to frustrating waiting on product and constantly answering pm's about it.I sold it for fun, not profit. It wasn't fun anymore....

No no, Scot....lol

I wasn't talking about you or ASAT at all. I was talking about the Generation II Enigma suit I asked Chuck to send me a LONG time ago.

I have some ASAT andI like it (insulated coveralls). I'll likely own more in some specialty garments, in the future. I don't bame you for severing your ties. If it's a hassle....it isn't worth it. See my camo plight above......
