Have you ever checked your ground blind for U.V glow
I am getting into this U.V glow thing quite a bit more and the more Iread it looks as though there have been some pretty good studies done by reputable groups into the validity of deer seeing the "glow"; and I was curious to see if anyone has ever checked their ground blind cloth especially Double bull.

How in the heck are you supposed to do that? Use a black light or something?

Yes you use a U.V light and as I understand a blacklight works as well. I actually bought a little uv light from atsko that I look at all my clothing with etc. I will look up the links for the research but it might take me a little while as all of my current info. is in paper form. I am almost certain it was the univ. of georgia that completed the most recent and revealing study.

It would be interesting to find something that did glow and spray some of that UV killer stuff on it and see what the difference was. I had a spike buck dang near stick his head inside my ground blind last year, and the one deer I shot out of it I took at an awesome 13 yards with the muzzleloader (don't use a muzzleloader inside a ground blind unless you want to know what it must have been like when the Branch Davidian Compound in Waco, TX burned). I'd level a guess that the UV killer will make something stop glowing under a black light... too bad that deer don't have "black light" vison.
