Default How long do you keep a bow?

Just curious to see how long on average people keep their bows?

I usually buy a new one every four years.... depending on how blown away I am with the new technology that has come out in the meantime.

Conversely my newest recurve is ten years older than I am.... built in the early 70s.

My Hoyt is an 03 and I'm confident with it...its light and fast.....So I'm keeping it....but 2009 has the DXT on my mind.

It varies with me. I had my Jennings Buckmaster since 01 and hunted with it until last season when I switched to my CR334. Hunted with that for one season, and now I have a 101st. I suppose I'll continue at this pace until marriage rolls around[8D]

This is a good question. I've actually been thinking about asking it recently. I've been bow hunting for a year, going on my second. I can see myself keeping mine for 2 or 3 more seasons then getting another one.
