About 4 years ago I was hunting the last day of hunting season. Noone else was hunting it seemed that week on the base I hunt. I had killed deer the last week of season the last couple of years. I had a great spot where I had seen does coming out of a bedding area to the field edge to stage, right before sundown. Anyways, I get set up around noon to hunt that last 5 hours of the day. I see tremendous food source, the wind is a cross wind that would give me alot of room for error as they came to the field edge. I saw zippo all day. Nothing to or from the stand either.
I had washed all my clothes, hung them out for days to air dry, even put them on as I exited my truck....weird. As I get back to my truck, I opened up the plastic bags my wife put my huntng clothes in for me and......they were "clorox" scented trash bags. I got home and I told her the story and we laughed like hell! hahahaha! The funny thing is I was the one that accidentally bought those kind of bags from the store. Anyone else have any funny or real stories of people sabotaging your hunt?

yea one saturday i forgot to turn my cell phone off or on vibrate. it ran and i didnt see anything for the rest of the evening so i say she sabotaged it. atleast i had someone to blame other then myself. thats the worst story i have shes good to me tho.

The last sunday of bow season last year was cold and fairly windy. I personaly wanted to go hunt my ground blind but since I can handle the cold better than my wife I let her hunt it and I hunted a treestand. It was sabotage alright, I had to endure the wind and the cold and she ended up killing a buck that was bigger than anything I got that whole year. I never had anything come close to me that night and she ended up with a 145" 8 pointer. Here is apicture.

I don't think I've sabotaged a deer hunt... but duck hunting with my Dad he used to pack breakfast and I'd take care of the guns and ammunition. He shoots an old 1100... so its 2 3/4" only.... been twice I can recall we made it to the blind and had only 3" shells.... poor Dad....

One morn i decided to take my wifes cell with me ,so i left her a note telling her i took it with me. It was around 9;00 when i had a group of doe's coming in ,they made it to my stand started eating on the red oaks .At that time i was telling myself once the bigger doe turns i'mgoing to draw down on her so i'm sitting there waiting when all of a sudden the damn phone goes off you guess it high alert the biggest doe starts stompping then blew and then took off so i answered the phone and my son goes whats up dad.I didn't say what i was thinking but i did say well i was hunting .

Not my wife or girlfriend, but............. a certain michwhitetail74 called my cell during turkey season in the 5 o clock hour this year. I forgot to put it on vib. No harm done
Oh ya, there was that time that my wife found out about my girl friend. That kinda ruined my hunting. lol
