Default Spot Hogg or G5 Optix XR sight??

Ive been shooting a pendulum sight for years now and am going to put a pin sight ona new hunting bow. I know allot of guys are using Spot Hogg sites and they are a very very nice piece. I was checking them out and I was looking at the G5 Optix XR which also looks like a real nice sight. Anyone advantages, likes or dislikes about either brand??

I like spot Hog, but have heard great things about G5 sight. Either one would be great!!!!

just a suggestion of a couple others

Viper
Copper John

I have both great sights

I've seen, held, and worked on both. I think the Spot-Hogg is all around head and shoulders above the G5. The Spot-Hogg's adjustments are just awesome. They are a little pricey but worth it, they are VERY strong and durable. You can put the sight down and stand on the sight housing, jump around, do whatever, and nothing with happen to it.

Spot Hogg is the top of the Totem pole when it comes to multi pin sights IMO.

1. Spot Hogg
2. Viper
3. Sword
4. Copper John

I just replaced a CSS Talon/Keller Pendulum sight with a Bowtech 101st Airborne and Spot Hogg Hunter with the wrap kit.

I absolutely love it.

At this point I can't imagine ever having anything but my Spot-Hogg on a bow. I love my Hogg-It with wrap. It is worth every penny IMHO!

After I sold my Real Deal I was debating whether I wanted a Hunter Hogg-It or the new XR sight myself. After seeing them side by side the Spot Hogg is the better sight IMO hands down. Not saying that the G5 is a bad sight by any means, but to me the Spot Hoggs are just brighter, easier to use and there is absolutely no question that they are A LOT more durable than the G5 sights.

Dan (MeanV) gave you a great list and I pretty much agree with it only I would swap Sword and Viper....

1. Spot Hogg
2. Sword
3. Viper
4. Copper John
