Saw my first REAL buck on my land tonight

I finally got some batteries for a trailcam tonight and went back on 4 wheeler roads to set it up about 20 minutes ago. Pitch dark with a slight drizzle. I have a spotlight in the truck and when I was locking the gate I put the deer in the spotlight.

He was a good 80 yrds away but his rack was 3 times his head. I got a slight look through the binoc's and saw 5 prominent points on one side and the other looked identical. The velvet was still there, but I bet he's gonna be in the 160's to 170's when its all done.

I know man law says pics, but maybe he will show on the cam I put on his trail!

That must be a great feeling knowing you have a big boy running around your area! I hope you'll get some trail cam pics to share with us. After all, it's the law.
