Default KINETIC ENERGY

This has probably been asked before but
How much KE does it take to pass through?
Deer?
Elk?
Moose?
Bear?
Jackelope?

My wife has gotten pass through shots on 2 deer with about 36-38 Lb of KE. Both deer were under 20 yards; she used the Muzzy 75 for one, and the 90 gr. for the other.

My wife got a passthrough with only about 35# KE.

Love the link Vabowman. looks like I have 72# KE. I wonder how much that goes down 20 or 30 yards down range?
