Default Silly High Speed Carbon Shooters

Not trying to ruffle feathers here but why is it that on alot of the huntng shows I see on TV they shoot a buck with a high speed setup with carbons and the arrow only penetrates 6inches or so then is flung to the ground as the deer takes off? I saw a show last night where this was the case, he did get enough penetration to hit vitals and got the deer and the carbon arrow was snapped like a dried out twig when the deer took off. I can't remember the last time I didn't have a complete pass thru even after busting through a shoulder with 60lb, 125gr heads, and xx75 2413's. I killed a nice 8pt. 2yrs. ago quartering almost straight away, the arrow punched liver, lung, top of heart then blasted through the brisket. Must be that speed vs momentum thing. Comments?

Hmmm, my carbon's with 100gr. broadheads smoke right through deer just as good if not better than my old XX78 super slams, It just doesn't take nearly as long for them to get there
