Default new to tree stand bowhunting

Hello,
I am new to treestand hunting (with bow). During rifle season I carry a backpack with my necessities and my rifle. What do I use to carry my gear in the field when I have a tree stand on my back? As far as atreestand, I am planning on getting the Viper SS.

Thanks

Welcome to the forums, hope you enjoy your visits here.

Bow hunting is just like gun hunting you carry what you need. The only problem with bow hunting is that your list of needs just get longer an longer. The Viper SS is a goodstand.Strap the back pack to your stand.

Good luck this up coming season.

I use a climber, exclusively. I typically carry a bow holder (scew in type), my bow and NOTHING else. I hunt close to home....and don't carry unneccessary items with me to stand.

Oh yeah......the Viper is a solid choice. Good luck.

when I bowhunt locally I do not bring much, but this season we are planning to go up to our rifle area. I figured for local stuff, I may get a few of those stand pockets an just carry my basics in there. For longer days etc, I like the idea of strapping my pack to the stand. BTW, so far, I have only bowhunted from a blind....

Yep strap it all to the stand, we carry in a bow a pack camera's tree arm and we can strap most of it to the stand!! Walt
