the release is the allen thumb release

i was just using one and i was pulling back my bow(my old crappy on, didnt get new one yet) and at about half draw it broke and the bow srting ripped the crap outta my face. it was only set at 50 LBS TOO!!!
not to mention i lost a arrow to boot
i will never buy anything made by Allen again

I personally like the trigger, I never have shot a thumb style, I used to see them a lot in the 3-D world. I would stick with a name brand release along the lines of scott, trueball, jim fletcher or something like that...I don't thinkI have heard of allen before....You need to buy quality products as you know now, you could have been hurt....

For a thumb release I would look at the Carter line of releases.
