Default Update on my speed bow post.

the article said that basically a fast bow could be more accurate because the arrow leaves the bow faster, therefore, less time for you to make a mistake when shooting. ???? don't know about that.

Kinda makes since in a way. But I am sure there are a ton of other factors that would matter in accuracy as well.

Yeah, put like that it does not make much sense, there are too many variables involved with the shooter.

I dunno.....it SOUNDS good, that's for sure, but I'm not sure of it's validity. I'm not entirely sure the arrow leaves the bow any faster, the arrow just gets better energy transfer from the limbs and cams, making it fly faster. And, faster bows generally have a shorter brace height, so thestring travels farther to get tobrace, makingnull and void any gain in string speed. And besides, even if that is true, a fast arrow still is, and will always be, less forgiving than a slow arrow.
