Default Twisting cables

I want to get more poundage out of my bow. I am maxed out at 70 right now. How much should I twist the cables to get 2 or 4 pounds more? Or how much can I twist them? I have Bowtech stock 452x strings, thanks.

if it's a single cam, 3 twists ought to do. it will lengthen the draw a little too. if it's a binary, 2 or 3 to each cable.

swift arrow, I understand you want to shoot 70# but why anymore, what is 2# gonna do?? Please don't think Im being a jerk, I just think if your bow is getting 70# cranked all the way up, then you should just leave it at that. Twisting the string to get a couple of pounds may not be worth the head ache in the end. you will only get about 2-4 fps second and not much more KE. Just my thoughts on it, I just don't want to see you go through things that I have been through, especially if you are shooting well now.

Weren't you the guy who was "working up" to #70 a few weeks ago? Now you're wanting more?

I'd like to see you draw your bow [8D]
