Awesome! What better to do, than to shoot bow during the last days of class. That's great that you're able to get kids involved like that. I wish our school had archery.

Health/PE shultzy...but this is actually my Outdoor ED advisory class...our district let us teachers create if you will our own class ... I chose Outdoor Ed as a theme and went with it.. So its only offered one period a day for 8th graders.. The kids really seem to enjoy it.. I usually have 60-70 kids per semester sign up for 30 spots... We do hiking, backpacking, outdoor wilderness survival skills, archery, camp cooking, jerky making, orienteering, geo caching ...and animal and plant species identification ...one day a week we do Character Ed.. which is good stuff too..

obtw, we teach archery to all 7th and 8th graders.. in our PE units ..so they all get it at least once.. NASP Program
