Default G5 Optix

Anyone using one, can you tell me if it helped your sight or would you wish you bought something else. I see it will accomodate a light, and has 6 pins...which is what I need, but at the price am I better to look at the Apex's.

I've got the 3 pin SE. Very durable, well built sight. no problems yet. Very easy to tune as well.

I have the five pin model, LE I believe, on my AR31. The only problem I had was that I could not get any additional height adjustment out of the sight. I had to reconfigure the sight to the mounting bracket in an unconventional way. The adjustments were then on the opposite side. The sight works fine on my Cardiac, but not on the short ata bow.

x2..I was ready to sell my G5 ME beased on not able to sight in 10 yds on the first pin. I had it up as far as it wuld go. However, I took it to my local dealer and let them do there thing. After 5 mintues I was sighting in @ 10 yd and up. I have the 3 pin + floater. I wish I just bought the six pin. I might sell the 4 and get the 6 now that I have the adjustments figured out. Overall very pleased.

I put the XR on my guardian, not a bad sight but without the light your in the dark on pin brightness. The adjustable bottom pin is great if you want to win some money on distance shooting. I got it tuned in to 85yds just to play around. I wish there was a guard of some kind over the fibers for protection but will see this sept how much abuse it can take and for the price it better.

The ME and XR comes with the light. You can buy one for the other series for $20.00+-. All models are compatible for the light so no one is left in the dark....By the way 85 yds is impressive.

The adjustment is unreal. I could possibly shoot 150 160 if I had a place to shoot that far. The pin moves a full 3/4 of a inch down and the sight is still centered on the bow so you have a full 1.25 inches of movement on the bottom pin if you move the other pins all the way up.

I was trying to say the sight isnt that bright unless you use the light but I do have 0.19 and they dont carry the light that normal pins do but it suits me just fine.
