Default No more bringing the cards home!

How many of you take a laptop out in the woods to check your cam's? Well this is the route i'm going now! I just purchased a new laptop last night and am so happy i will not have to wait till i get home to look at pictures.

I don't bring the laptop to the woods, but I do have it at my camp at all times and bring it in the vehicle to all my other spots. I also have wireless internet at my camp so I can surf HNI from there. [8D]

My method is even easier bud........My Garmin "Nuvi"Navigation unit for my truckis pocket sized and has an SD card reader built in.
It fits in a little case in my pocket and I can view them right at the tree if I want.

Plus Matt, you can use it to find your way in to your trail cams...

I take the laptop to save the pic's to......I also have a card reader in my stereo in my truck to just view them.....I hunt 4 hours from the house and we have 8-10 cameras to check, so swapping cards is not the best option for me. The computer works well, buy you a power inverter and start checking them out. My battery wont last long enough to down load all the pics without going down and we dont have electricity so the inverter is awesome.....Congrats on the new laptop, mine is just about as old as dirt but all I use it for is storage and trailcam pic's.....Can't justify a new one right now.....

Actually I use a leaf river card viewer. Last year during bear hunting a friend of mine came with us for a few days and while at camp in the woods we would fire his laptop up and check out the video's from our no flash cuddebacks. The leaf river viewer doesn't show video's so that worked awesome having a laptop there for a few days. I think I'll be purchacing a laptop myself possibly this year so we can have it with us bear hunting so we can check the video's back at camp.
