Default Crossbows: Archery Equipment?

With all the mess going on in the crossbow thread I thought I would pose a simple question.

Do you consider crossbows archery equipment and do you consider crossbow hunters bow hunters?

There is no selection for "I don't care one way or the other".

I consider them hunters, just like the rest of us.
