Default trukey hunting question

I had a tom and a jake come to my calling this morn. They seemed scared of the decoys. They refused to come near. I am located on a natural travel route. My question is: should I pull the decoys and call hoping they will travel thru looking for the hen? Do the birds get decoy shy?

I'm on a field edge. the brush line along the fence seems to be a place the birds naturally like to travel.

I have noticed this in the past as we get into mid to late May. Setting up an ambush without decoys seems to be a good strategy.

Sometimes a jake decoy will spook a gobbler.Could this be whats happening?I don't have alot of experience with the turkeys but of the ones I shot I didn't have decoys out on any of them.
