Default Something we should never overlook

I saw this thread over in the Technical forum and I wanted to make sure everyone sees it. It's something many of us over look, and good strings DEFINATELY makes a difference. It's just one of those things we need to take into account as the season approaches.

Bowtechs strings IMO are the best OEM strings out there and as good as many of the so called customs. Vapor Trail makes Great strings at a great price and turn around is very Quick.

Who wants to wait 3 to 4 weeks on a set of strings? There's really no use to.

You just order your string 2-3 weeks ahead of wanting to change it out (unless it's unshootable). Thats what I did but I knew the turn around. Came last week

The biggest percentage of guys that walk into the shop needing a string really needed it yesterday

And expect it the week before that[8D]

I was wondering what you guys think of the FUSE strings that came with my '07 Vectrix? Are they good quality strings? I haven't had any issues with them yet.

There were VERY few people who were pleased with the 07' strings. However, there were a few good sets. I've workeed on plenty of the 07's to know that the good sets were few and far between. I had to replace the ones on my Vectrix XL. I would be willing to be your bow is out of time as we speak and you just don't know it. I was retiming mine every 100 shots even after about 500 shots had been put through the bow. I'd replace them.

Depends on what you want out of your bow...

Just a hunting bow that you are stackin BH tipped arrows with right now? No need to change really.

If your getting into all the technical aspects of tuning to make your bow a perfect shooting machine, then Id bet your ATA or timing is out of spec right now. Mine was on my 07 Vectrix, and they got a cut in em, so I replaced before shooting em again.

I cant even describe how much I love these Bucknasty strings by Gibblet. The 452x is absolutely rock solid. Great stuff, and you can order a color combo to match your arrows/accesories.

My vectrix has a red/black theme and always gets comments on how purty she is.
