do string suppressors really help?

Im thinking about getting one but I want to know the pros and cons first.

Input is greatly appreciated.

How much do they help? IMMENSLY. This is one gadget in the archery world that is NOT a gimmik. They reduce string oscillation, noise, and vibration. It'll be like shooting a different bow.

I've wondered the same thing. I've considered getting one but im not sure how much of a difference they would actually make, only because I have no experience with them.

What they said. It made a MAJOR improvement to my CR334, and though my 101st has the factory supressor, I'm most likely replacing it with a MeanV. I definitely recommend one.

I always tell people String Suppressors are a great accessories, and there are several on the market.

Buy one of your choosing and enjoy the benefits!!

Iwill soon have a short brace height model out. 2 to weeks for camo and black will be sooner

I'd get the MeanV over the STS any day, especially if you have a rear mounting bushing on your bow. I believe they all will do as advertised but the MeanV just looks a whole lot cleaner....My .02

They are a big help. I was experiencing a "noise" every time I shot my bow. I had several of my friends looking at it and no one came up with a solution. I took it into my shop and immediately the shop owner recognized the sound and installed the string suppressors. Sound gone!!!!
