Default coyotes getting bad in NC

Any tips for calling yotes, spent Sat afternoon in the woods a last ditch effort for a turkey- had a small deer come up behind me and proceed to feed off - a few minutes later the deer spooked and 4 yotes were chasing it through the woods, just a lil guy so I am sure it didn't make it

but we can take yotes year round - but I have never intentionally went after them, I took my first last year while deer hunting

any helpful advice would be appreciated

predator masters is a great site! I love hunting the Coyotes! Calling them in is a rush in itself, then trying to fool there nose is another. Once they smell ya they don't stick around to find out, they run for the hills! I never go in the woods without a Coyote call! I use the Primos Lil Dog, you can get all the sounds you need, howls, yipes, challenge barks and distress calls! They run like $24.99 and you get a Randy Anderson DVD included that has some great info on how to use and when to use which sounds! I called in at least 12 different Coyotes in the past year and killed 5 and missed a few as well! Its FUN!!!!!!

I have gotten some good info from that site. Do you bowhunt the coyotes?

We don't really have coyotes here in Southern MD but fox hunting is 6 days/nights a week 365 days a year in my county. I want to start bowhunting them from a tree stand using a mouth and remote caller but haven't been able to try that yet. I think it'll work though.

Sure do, I killed this guy 2 years ago with the bow. I called in 11 of them together! I missed his twin brother a week earlier! This mount is almost finished, he is fixing the hair inside the ears, doesn't look right to me, to grey! I also have hunt them with my .204 and now I really want to take one with my Longbow!

You ever try a few feathers on fishing line tied to an arrow, the feathers blow in the wind! This works pretty good, takes the attention off you when you draw!

Is this on an extra arrow near you? How does this work if on the arrow you are shooting?

Oh, beautiful coyote by the way! If I get a fox bowhunting I am seriously considering getting it mounted.
