Default cows=turkey????????

for ten years we hadabout forty five herefords that we kept in the back. last summer we sold them, and now there are almost no turkeys left. someone told me that the birds would peck seeds from the cow pies. and that is why they left, is there any truth to this.

I don't think that is the reason they left, but the Turkeys do eat the bugs and un-digested corn and feed in the cow pies. Where the farmer spreads his hay waste from the cows stalls in his fields is a turkey hot spot too.
