Do not follow where the path may lead...go instead where there is no path and blaze a trail!

Not while running. I have shot a couple of bucks that were walking at under 20 yards.

Me??? Not with a bow. I'm just not that good. In the woods where you have to pick your shots to avoid limbs and twigs, I don't see how I'd ever know I was getting a clear shot even if I could hit a running deer. I'm not saying it can't be done... just saying I can't see me doing it.

[X(] NO! I tried it the first year I bowhunted. There were 4 deer running about 30 yards away I aimed about 3 feet in front of the first one and almost hit the last one..[&o] Don't do it!!!

And yes I kept my bow 3 feet (about) in front of the first one through the shot.

I've taken 3 deer with my bow that were trotting slowly with my recurve. I double lunged all 3 of them. They were at 17 yards, 18 yards, and 12 yards.
