Default How many deer? ( Multiple selection)

How many deer with your current bow if you have had it longer thana fewyears. I like to use a bow forquite afewyears an do not give into the hype of buying a new bow that is faster an improved hoping that it will increase my chances.

Well I don't even have a hunting bow at this point.........[8D]. I already sold the bow I hunted with last season. I don't switch them up because I think it gives me an advantage, I switch them up because I like playing with new bows.

I just started using my new bow last season. I still havent drew blood with it. I missed a real big buck with it. One of the first thoughts that came to my mind was I wish I had my old bow.I like to keep the same bow for many years. I like knowing my bow real well. That IMO is more of an advantage then a newer, faster bow.

I like to get to "know" my bow as well. It may not be the best, or fastest, put I can pick up my bow, place the pin on the vitals of a deer at 30 yards or less and place a lethal shot on a deer very quickly with my current bow. I will however look for a new bow in 2009....just need a little bit of a longer bow that is more stable...my current bow I believe is too short and even a small error on my release affects the shot accuracy a ton...I want something more forgiving.

I've used the same bow for 11 seasons and have killed 11 deer and 1 turkey.

I love that bow!

I am in my sixth year with 9 deer, my bow's not the fastest out there but itgets the job done.I have plans on putting aleast another two or three deer on the wall before I allow myself to buy another bow. I have been bow hunting for 16 years an have not had but 3 bows.
