Just curious what you guys are gettgin with your set-ups. I'm shootin my 08' Ally smooth mods at 70 lbs with 352gr arrows at 315 fps with 78fp of KE. What grain arrows, fps, and KE are you guys shootin with your Allys? Just thinkin about arrow weights and if I wanna go with a 400 gr arrow or not. Thanks WCL
O also what do you guys think about the speed mod with the 08's I was thinkin about tryin the speed mod and goin with the 400 gr arrow. What do you think.

Haven't had mine chrono'd as of yet, but do have the speed mods, and they really don't seem all that bad, valley is a bit small, but I can get a smooth pull out of it.
My 08 is set at 71.5 # pull. 360 gr arrow at a 26.5" draw and the chrono read 288, 286, 288, and 288 fps. supposed to be the smooth mods, but either way, it is still fast enough for one pin out to at 26 yds from what I can tell. best thing I ever bought!!!

Well before i re-did mine, I was getting 288 with a 337grn arrow, 65lbs, 27.5"DL, speed mods. Now Ive gone to a 350grain arrow, at 28" DL, havent chrono'd it yet, but I'll let you know when i do, it may be today.
As far as the speed mods, you wont feel much a diference at all, the extra 6-10fps was well worth for my stubby arms.

O I forgot to mention my DL is 30". Doesn't matter what your DL is I'm just lookin for comparisons relative to the chages you guys get in speed and KE of diff arrows. You guys who posted already that is just what I'm lookin for. Keep em comin. Thanks. WCL

Draw length matters... shorter the slower... That's why I pull over 70 lbs. If you pull 70# at 29" draw, you should be shooting a 350-355 gr arrow if you want some speed, I see no problem with you getting in low 300's fps.

I haven't chrono'd it yet, but 70# @ 29" and a 430 grain arrow shoots obscenely faster than the 265 fps I got out of my old bow with the same arrow. This might be a good weekend project to get some concrete numbers.

I know draw legth matters. Is what I ment was seeing the ratio of them losing speed and how much KE thye get between diff arrows. By seein what kind of a difference there is no matter what the draw length, it still indicates how much difference I may see relative to my own numbers. Thats what I was getting at. WCL
