Default Question about my rest...

I've been shooting my new Guardian since getting my correct draw mods from my pro shop. I love this bow. After cranking a few dozen arrows through it I noticed wear on the cables, This is no fault of the bow...I had a Vital Gear Kaz Away rest installed which required a new cable slide....and it appears the cable slide needs to be flipped around as the pictures show. My question is; does anyone know the proper wayto remove the cord that raises the rest, from the slide. Sorry about the blurry pic.
