Default would you have done the same?

Ok so tonight i went for a walk and found lots of deer hair and bones from wolf kills and then i walked over a lil nob on the pipeline and found a fawn with the guts hanging out and both back legs broken from wolves. It must've just happenedbecause the deer was still alive and tried to crawl away but it couldnt.. So i did what was best for the fawn and shot it in the head so it wouldnt suffer any longer. So my question is what would you guys have done?

What makes you think it was wolves and not coyotes?

James i figured it was wolves since i seen a big track in the sand or dirt, it looked bigger than coyotes.
