Wish I could answer you, buckmaster. I justfound out Thursday that I landed a new job at St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, but they haven't given me my actual salary offer yet. I'll vote after I get that. So much for actually being retired.

...I was there for years, and after graduating college last spring, this is my first year with a "normal" salary. It will get better

The local governments in Northern Virginia are starting to close all kinds of offices and axing people due to the budget problems......it is rough.

I work for the railroad and won't say what I make, but most guys were I live work in the coal mines and make 75,000 plus a year.
