Default Shoot through mesh with expandables

Can you shoot expandables through the shoot through mesh in ground blinds? Or will the mesh cause them to expand early and mess up the flight? I'll be shooting rage expandables if that makes a difference.

Default RE: Shoot through mesh with expandables

As long as they don't have a big "L" arm sticking out there, they work perfectly fine. Example of a "bad" head would be a Rocket Hammerhead. Example of a "good" head is a Rocket Wolverine.

While I've never tried the Rage, I'm fairly certain the mesh would cause them to open.

I have the double Bull and have taken several animals with the Vortex, and I guess they are the L type. Before hunting I shot throught the mesh several times out to 50 yards to make sure though. As we all know all expandables are not created equal, I have some hunting buddies that have tried several different brands and some of them open when the bow is shot. No matter what head you shoot, You need to try them out first. Good Luck.....

I think the mesh would cause you problems with most of the expandables.
