Default The nubs are growin!

Shawn and I were turkey hunting this morning and had a bunch of hens fly down in front of us and we were watching them when out of our peripherals we caught movement. It was a big bachelor group of bucks walking down the trail about 5 yards away. They got directly down wind of us and spooked, but it was cool seeing 5 or 6 bucks that are one their way to growing this years rack! One of the bucks wasa very big bodied mature buck with heavy bases. Only a few months!!!

I had a pair feeding in front of me for 30minuteslast weekend. Then my bird flew down from his roost and scared the he!! out of the bucks. They shot up the hill like a canon, which scared the he!! out of the bird, he instantly took off and flew across the ravine . . . . and I was left sittin' there by myself wondering what the hell just happened [:@], lol! It was a beautiful sight though!!

Casi saw one yesterday, that was already forked at the main beams and brows. Another month or 2 and it'll be time for the game cameras again!
