There's a story in our local paper this morning about a 16 year old bowhunting getting shot and killed yesterday while turkey hunting. Please be careful out there and come home safe.

How doa huntermistaken a person for an animal? I hate to hear all the stories of a hunter accidently shotanother because they thought it was a deer, turkey, or bear. That disgust me [:'(], knowing that there are hunters out there that will shoot at anything that moves.

Seems to happen every year. I think alot of guys need a refresher on basic hunter safety.

I agree with wolf651. how do mistakena hunter for an animal? I have an idea, people who are over anxious and just want a reason to pull the trigger, they are more a killer than a hunter. My opinion is thata hunter is out not only to harvest but to experience the anticipationa nd excitement DURING the hunt. I know there is way more I can add but this is not the plat form fo rthatI will get down off my soapbox now[8D] sorry for that boyz family.
