Default Back from NW Turkey Hunt in MI

Well no birds, butI called in 4 hen's today. I purred and cluck no yelps, well as soon as each hen got near the decoy setup, they all started yelping. One stayed a round for 5 mins yelping, we did not see or hear a Tom[&:]

Just about everybody I know is having a tuff time getting the toms to respond to calls.[:'(]Including me.It is a really tuff year.

Have you ever tried the breeding pair thing? I had a big ol gobbler come storming in to that arrangement. WhichI promptly missed. see my "turkey fever" thread [:@]
