Default Went turkey huntin and tripped over these.

I was out turkey hunting today(no bird again), had 2 of them roosted. Setup between them with my dekes out. They both gobbled really well on the roost and after fly down. I know one of them had to be able to see my dekes. Still neither one came in, they walked off the other direction. I am almost ready to blast one with my 12 Guage Remington BOW.

While I was chasing after them I almost tripped on these.

These were really stacked on top of one another.

I didn't quite fill the bed of my truck, but I found 32 yesterday and 77 this morning. Those are gonna be mmm mmm tasty, all fried up.
I think I am gonna skip the nonres turkey tags next year and just mushroom hunt.(No tags required for the shrooms)And I got meat on the table.

Thats sweet! Sorry to hear about the birds not cooperating, but congrats on the mushrooms!

We found 180 of them on Friday. As a matter of fact, were getting ready to eat them right now!

We found some this weekend too! I litterally tripped over them almost when we went to make a move on a gobbler. We came up empty handed but at least we have a tasty treat to take home. I actually got them cut up and am going to eat them tonight with my girlfriend after this stupid group meeting I have.

Well you can't win them all... I've never even seen a Morrell Mushroom. I sure would like to eat some with a cold beer and a steak!!

Ok this will be my first year looking for these shrooms are there any other shrooms
that look like them that I might mistake for and end up sick if I do eat them?

*Somebody better freeze some and bring them to the get together*

Thanks

Ok im going to be the different one here... I HATE mushrooms[:'(]that nasty spongy feelin in your mouth.... yuck! but then to go out in the wild and pick them?? If i tried that.... there would be no more buckmaster, i'd probably find the deadliest mushroom known to man.
