Default When heading into the Turkey woods....

I'm just curious...when heading into the turkey woods, what are some of the "must haves" that you take with you? Doesn't need to be hunting related but something you found makes your morning and/or day more enjoyable. I'm taking a buddy of mine with me who has never hunted before, so I want his experience to be as comfortable as possible.

A couple granola bars/power bars and a bottle of water. After waking up early and running and gunning for a few hours you get a little hungry, and when the sun gets up in the late morning it can get warm so a drink of water always helps.

Just checked the weather for Tuesday (my first day out) going to be heavy rains all morning long [:@]!! So I guess I'll be bringing along the ol rainsuit and an extra t-shirt and pair of socks as well.
Speaking of rain, should my buddy and I just forget about the blind and try to ambush some birds where they feed/strut? Or should we set-up shop on the edge of a field and try to call some into us with our dekes?

I go in light as possible. I take my Slate call with 2 strikers, box call, a few different diaphragm calls, a knife and cell phone!

If it is very warm...BUG & TICK SPRAY. Very crucial for a hunt that depends very much on lack of movement(w/o a blind).
