Well Matt (RJ) gave me the idea to make some sort of log/journal to mark my progress as I make the switch from RH to LH, so I figured I would do sort of a public/online version. Most of you probably don't care much, but I thought it would be interesting to let everyone see my process/experiences along the way. So I will continue to update this thread as things progress and things begin to take place...hopefully add some video/photos along the way. I'll start off with Day One (yesterday)
4-23-08:
Finally got the bow all setup and went outside for some drawing drills to get my muscles acquainted with the new style. Drew back about 50 times total, letting down about 48 (yes I sneaked off two shots[8D]). Overall I feel very steady and actually pretty comfortable with the bow in the opposite hand. My right side trap started to get a bit sore after 40 or so pullbacks, so I called it quits at 50. Some things that I have to get used to:
More aggressive draw cycle
Keeping my draw motion continuous and not letting my shoulders "jerk" when the cams roll over into the valley
4-24-08:
Installed my sight on the bow to do some aiming drills while I do my drawing drills. Noticed right off the bat I could blur the pins VERY well now using my dominant eye. I'm so much more comfortable with both eyes open, and I have no double vision. I did notice the pin still floating a bit, but I concentrated on picking a very small dot on my morell bag and just bearing down on it, basically blurring the pin as much as possible. I'm not sure how much this will effect my accuracy, as I haven't shot yet.
Not afraid to admit it (even though it was stupid and embarassing), I lost an arrow tonight. I tryed drawing back at 20yds to see how blurring the pins looked at that distance, and I was getting tired, and I creeped (something I could get away with on my CR334), and the cams kicked over and my thumb caught the trigger on mt ST-3 and sent and arrow flying 30yds out into the woods beyond my target and into a pine[:@] Arrow is unsalvagable. Overall, I felt a bit more tired today (probably due to yesterday) and I only got about 30 draw reps in. VERY happy with the switch so far.

4/29/08:
Didn't get much drill work done this weekend. Between working at my camp all weekend, and going out for spring gobbler on Saturday, I was pretty busy. I was back at it today, however. Went out and did about 40 pull backs. Starting to notice my draw cycle is getting more smooth, and routine. My right shoulder still gets fatigued though with long holds and then I tend to creep, and the cams roll over all quickly. It is somewhat of a concern of mine that I won't be able to do long holds in the stand (especially when colder temperatures creep into my muscles). However, I do feel it's becoming more natural. The one area I have on my body that's getting a bit sore is my left index finger from the pressure put on it by my ST-3 when pulling back. I think my left hand just isn't used to it yet, and I'm sure it will get better.
I will end the update with another video. This is a video at the end of the "workout" today of me doing two consecutive draw backs. The thing that concerns me the most here is my elbow position...it seems to be way too much at an angle. However, this does feel pretty comfortable to me. Thoughts?
