Default Arrows?

I am looking at buying new arrows for 3d and possibly paper. I am looking at the Victory X-Ringer but the problem is that they are too big for paper and I don't have enough money to get two dozens just yet. So I was thinking of going with aluminums but I am afraid of wrecking them but shooting at a 3d with other people aiming at mine[:@]. And also shooting groops. Do you guys think this would be an issue?

If you change your mind on the circumference issue.....let me know. I've got some X-cutters that I'll make you a DEAL on.

How big are they? The reason I am asking is the biggest i can get for paper is 9.3 mm (metric) I don't know what that is in standard.

You would be fine with aluminums for paper, but for 3D aluminums are a bad way to go. They will get destroyed and slow you way down. I know in ASA you can only shoot 280fps, so if you can fling an aluminum at that speed great, but what about the time you get one creased and you don't know and that arrow goes way off target? That is the problem with aluminums. Take a look at the x-cutters, or easton's fat boys. Just a warning, you may have sticker shock when you see some of the prices for fat shafts.

Been looking in to getting into some target and 3-D shooting. Saw where you mentioned sticker shock. What kind of price are ya looking at for the fat shaft both alluminum and 3-D??
