thats crazy drop------one of my friends told me he saw a nice 8 point in mid March still holding his rack.....most of the time around here they have dropped by Feb 1st or so......

When I was hunt turkeys last week I had a Buck come by my Decoys with at least 6 inches of Velvet already, looked like big ole light bulbs on his head!!!![8D]

A guy here in PA saw one with his rack as well. Some don't drop until the new growth but as BHF pointed out, that should be now.

I'm wondering if these bucks have injuries and won't drop or grow?

I haven't any with antlers on my camera for quite a while...I am starting to see acouple with some little nubbies growing in though

Last week a kid I work with saw one full rack. Said it was a big one too.

The antler regeneration process can actually being to take place while the antlers are still intact, which my be your case. If not, then your buck may be holding that rack for another year.
