I know the double bull is the cadilac of blinds,the only issue I see is the 20 plus pounds(and price).I am a small guy and the thought of carrying that much weight is definately a concern to me.
I walk a pretty good piece in(as germ can attest to) and was wondering if the lighter t2 is worth the cost.
Can you see and shoot in many directions,I saw the video on how to set it up and it seems simple enough so that doesn't worry me.
Any other suggestion appreciated.
Definately would like to get a GOOD blind for bowhunting turkeys for next season.
The T2 is ok if you know exactly where they're going to be. If you can use your decoys to postion the bird where you want it, the T2 is fine. I've owned both, and honestly....If you're going to get serious and hunt from a blind......the Matrix is well worth the money. Or the ASAT blind, about half the cost.

It isn't as much the cost as it is the weight.I weigh a buck 40 and walking a mile with a 20 plus pound blind and bow,decoys,calls,chair and whatever else I need,well,I dont like to get up that early to start the walk.Do I germ.[&:]
Of course,cost is also a factor but not the motivation.
TFOX, If you get interested in a T2 I have 2 and was planning on selling 1. They are both in excellent shape and I would sell one for a good price. If interested just shoot me a PM.
I am 5'11" and weight about 155 and I have no problem with the Matrix. With the single strap you have to switch shoulders now and then but when you get it set-up and that Tom is coming in, the Matrix is worth it. My 2 cents.

Matrix is a PITA to carry in without shoulder straps. The one strap provided works fine, but really starts hurtin the shoulders on a long walk. I love the blind...Im headin to wally world tomorrow to look for an oversized back pack to fit it into...homemade wild thing so I can save 220 bucks.
This blind is, like you said, the cadillac of blinds. makes my 4th blind over the years, the other 3 were junk in hindsight and totaled up to the cost of this blind. I love it.

I am sure the matrix is worth it,I would love to have one for short walks but I hunt a big farm and walking is a big part of where I hunt,plus it isn't flat ground either.I would love to be mobile and just don't feel that is an option for me with a blind that heavy.
I have carried the double bulls in of a friend before and it is a work out,especially when crossing a couple creeks.
I bought mine from Dicks Sporting Goods for 40 bucks each! Enough room for two, bowhunting and shotgun with shootable mesh on 4 sides. I bought two of them so I dont have to carry them every trip. I rotate them and they have lasted 2 seasons...and two weeks of turkey hunting this year!
Comfortzone makes it, called in the game! Its not Ghillified but it has a good camo and leaning a few limbs next to it and it blends in perfect...for the cost!
