This is a buddy of mine shooting(hnt24.7)

It was about a 10 yard shot. I thought it was an amazing shot. Check it out!!!

Deer coming into my treestand, a big non-typical. Setup is perfect. I draw back, take aim, and the pin settles perfectly on it's chest.....My thumb hits the release, arrow glides noiselessly toward it's target............then I woke up.....dang, another day of classes *sigh*

Yep, that was a good shot. Did you check out the guy shooting the recurve behind his back at a self thrown target? I wanna be able to do that.

The camo must be the key there. Those targets are pretty wiley and can be hard to sneek up on.

Did he actually lace it perfectly through the hole or glance it off the disc into the hole? The only reason I ask is because it looks like a fletching or nock comes off the arrow like it wasn't a smooth penetration into the target. BTW, I think your buddy needs to lower the poundage on his bow a little....he looks like he is having more trouble pulling it back than he should.


In any case, its always great to pull off those trick shots...it really is a confidence booster sometimes.
