Default Hunting the illusive whitetail buck!

When do you all prefer to hunt your bucks? I myself prefer hunting these guys from the 3rd week of October to the 2nd week of November, thats been my best luck anyway. I'm not anywhere near the bedding areas or the deeper, heavier part of the woods of these bucks until the dates I mentioned. If I'm meat hunting (doe or doe fawns) I'll stay close to the edge of the woods if not on the edge of a field. The poll is multiple selections being I'm sure some hunt everything.

Schultzy Ilike the last week of October thru the end of our bow season which is the the middle of November. I've tried earlier in the season to no avail and I personally don't like the heat and the still green woods. Ken

Opening weekend that last few years has presented numerous opportunities at those elusive bigger deer in my area, especially once you get them semi-figured out where they will be feeding in the evenings.

That being said, I still like the first week or two in November, rut should be going full bore, and that is the time you have a good chance of seeing different (mayber bigger) bucks.

I don't know if I have ever seen a illusive buck though, they do tricks like David Copperfield or something??????

ya, had to edit it, cause if am gonna get smart about speeling i better get my wurds spelt rite also, yanno........

I like opening weekend but if I can't connect then I like the last week of October and the 1st week of November.
